In Seattle, our taxi was 30 minutes late, so we eventually had a friend drive us to the airport. My mom's flight was also delayed 45 minutes, which meant that she only had a 30 minute layover in Minneapolis and almost missed her flight! In London it took us 3 hours to find out if my mom even made her flight and another hour to get in contact with her, so we were never able to leave the airport. So after 21 hours of flight plus the layovers it's great to finally be in South Africa! [Saturday, Oct 6]
